Cute :3
Bluetooth technology enabled the small camera to connect directly to an iphone or android mobile device, I'll assume other bluetooth capable smartphones as well.
Although that was cool and all, this version, the looxcie 3 replaces bluetooth for wifi. I approves bluetooth's old skool for me any ways.
Another amazing feature is that its video-processing power can simultaneously live stream WQVGA-resolution video at 15fps while recording at 720p at 30fps. Awesome!
The camera in easy on the hands, a square body and a max weight is 0.8 pounds (lbs).
Its buttons and other features?, a micro-usb port and a micro sdxc card slot, which supports up to 64GB, the right side has the power and Wi-Fi/shooting mode buttons, and the top has the record/shutter release button. A single charge of its internal battery gets you up to 90 minutes of recording time. Not bad at all expected features and buttons, I'm not hearing about FLASH though.
OPERATIONS.
Power on and press record, it starts capturing video(s) at 720p or you can use it to capture a normal picture at the same resolution.
Other Advance Stuff.
Capability to capture loop recordings and then if you're intrigued by a certain part of the recording, you can (with a single button press) create a clip of the last 30 seconds.
Live streams to your Facebook wall and mobile-to-mobile private streams.
V-Flies is said to be MP4 format at a bit rate of about 15Mbps.
